TfL Rail services take just 30 minutes between Terminals 2, 3 and 4 and central London (Paddington Station) and run every 30 minutes. See schedules

Payment methods and Rates

The easiest way to pay for your trip is to pay as you go with a contactless or Oyster card available at ticket machines. You can use a contactless debit or credit card or a mobile device. There is no need to buy a ticket. Individual tickets and zone 1-6 travel cards can also be used.

Rates £5.10 (Monday to Friday from 06.30 to 09.30 and all other hours and holidays £3.10, paying by Oyster or Contactless credit or debit card. (Cash £6.00).

TFL Rail trains stop at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 and Heathrow Terminal 4. Passengers traveling to Terminal 5 must change at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 for the free transfer train (four trains per hour, journey time 6 minutes).

Travel between Heathrow terminals is free on any service if tapped in and out with a contactless or Oyster card. Alternatively, you can pick up a terminal transfer ticket from certain machines at all stations.
