Payment Methods and Fees
The easiest way to pay for your trip is with a Contactless or Oyster card available on ticket machines. You can use a contactless debit or credit card or mobile device. There’s no need to buy a ticket. Individual tickets and travel cards from zone 1-6 can also be used.
Rates £5.10 (Monday to Friday from 0630 to 0930 and the rest of the hours and holidays £3.10, paying by Oyster card or Contactless credit or debit card. (Cash £6.00)
TFL Rail trains stop at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 and Heathrow Terminal 4. Passengers travelling to Terminal 5 must change at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 for the free transfer train (four trains per hour, travel time 6 minutes).
Travelling between Heathrow terminals is free on any service if you touch in and out with a Contactless or Oyster card. Alternatively, you can pick up a terminal transfer ticket from certain machines at all stations.
